Trek Transponders Marine Power Relay allows yacht, cruiser and commercial vessel owners to easily control devices on board remotely. This may be remote control of refrigeration, deck lights pumps, battery charging, solar and more. Its easy to wire and works with any model Trek Transponder.
The Power Relay can switch ON/OFF loads of up to 60A DC, commonly 12V or 24V. It can be fully controlled remotely by your Mobile Phone using your Trek Transponder Relay 1 or Relay 2 output
Common uses are for fridge control. ie. Leave the on board refrigeration OFF while vessel is not in use to conserve battery power. On the day before use remotely turn refrigeration on using your mobile phone.
Another common use is remote control of deck lights. This allows the vessel owner to turn ON the deck lights remotely any time to discourage any suspected intruder. Or to make the vessel visible at night and more accessible. Turn on deck lights before you arrive at the boat and you can easily see its location from a distance and boarding is easier.
There are many further applications controlling battery charging, solar panels and pumps.
Construction is IP67 so is fully marinsed, easy to wire and works with any model Trek Transponder.
