Trek Transponders 50A Marine Power Relay is especially designed to make installation fast and easy. No fiddling around with relay coils, boxes or diodes.
Simply connect the Relays two power input wires to your battery via appropriate fuse, the two power output wires to your load and the control wire to the Trek Transponder Auto Relay, Relay 1 or Relay 2. Job done.
Once installed this Relay allows easy control of devices on board remotely. This may be remote control of refrigeration, deck lights pumps, battery charging, solar and more.
The Power Relay can switch ON/OFF loads of up to 50A DC, either 12V or 24V. It can be fully controlled remotely by your Mobile Phone using your Trek Transponder Relay 1 or Relay 2 output. Or connect it to your Trek Transponders Auto Relay for a timed 10 minute siren and deck light lights on, in case of intruder detection.
Common uses are for fridge control. ie. Leave the on board refrigeration OFF while vessel is not in use to conserve battery power. On the day before using the fridge remotely turn it on using your mobile phone.
Another popular use is remote control of deck lights. This allows the vessel owner to turn ON the deck lights remotely any time to discourage any suspected intruder. Or to make the vessel visible at night and more accessible. Turn on deck lights before you arrive at the boat and you can easily see its location from a distance and boarding is easier.
There are many further applications controlling battery charging, solar panels and pumps.
Construction is IP67 so is fully marinised.
