Float Switch for Bilge Alarm Input

Description

A reliable good quality float switch suitable for connection to Trek Transponder Bilge monitoring input. Rated at switching up to 30A 12V to 32VDC this switch can also be used to control a bilge pump. (If this switch is out of stock we will supply an equally good similar one).

For Trek Transponder use generally this float switch is added to your bilge fitted slightly higher than your existing bilge float switch. As such it will never get wet unless your existing bilge pump system fails which is too often, and what we want to know about ASAP. For example the existing float switch may foul or more commonly the bilge pump will fail mechanically or because of battery issues. This float switch and your Trek Transponder act as a “High Water” alarm.
